Indentifying and Protecting Wildlife Corridors

Bosque adult panel

Sand hill cranes are featured in this depiction of the Rio Grande bosque.

This, the second “Bosque Life Zone” panel, was created by adult volunteers, and installed on March 30th, 2012. It was grouted the next day, and was sealed with 511 impregnator before winter.

The main barrier to wildlife movement across the land is the human brain, so we’re communicating with that organ in a positive way. We want to show the animals who live here, and that they need to maintain their connectivity with multiple life zones.
